绘制中国灵性资本
本研究计划将通过对中国宗教的社会科学研究,以达至以下三个目的:绘制中国宗教图景及宗教市场变化、考察灵性资本在新兴公民社会中的作用、发表学术论文以促进宗教社会学科发展。 (1) 描绘宗教图景及宗教市场变化:当今中国各个宗教的现状如何?我們将制作一本地图集,运用地图、表格、图片对中国不同地区宗教生活进行描述。本研究运用地理信息系统(GIS)的空间数据来呈现宗教场所的地理分布。宗教场所的数据主要来源于中国2004年的经济普查,7万2千8百77个官方认可的宗教场所,还将包括从“热点”和“冷点”区域(宗教场所集中和稀少的地区)采集的宗教场所相关数据。采集的地理数据。地图集还将呈现对信徒以及当地社会环境的分析一组宗教信仰者和实践者社会环境的问卷调查分析。目前,这些数据已经逐渐向公众开放,数据分析还在进行中。第二,我们将出版一本关于中国宗教市场的手册,包括对不同地区宗教群体和社区的田野报告,分析宗教组织是如何在红、黑、灰宗教市场之间游走与转变。这本手册将进一步强化宗教市场的理论建构。再者,我们将开发在线地理数据、声像材料以及交互地图。这些地图集、手册以及在线交互信息平台将成为研究中国宗教/灵性传统之动态的基准。 (2) 考察灵性资本在新兴公民社会中的作用:我们将“灵性资本”定义为宗教和灵性社会网络所创造的价值,使得个人和群体能够紧密联系并服务彼此。这部分研究将回答两个问题:宗教如何在共产党治理下生存与复兴?基督教和佛教在市场和政治转型期的新兴公民社会中起到何种作用?鉴于基督教和佛教是当今中国两大宗教,我们将分别选取100位基督教和佛教领袖进行口述史研究。这些访谈将有助于厘清宗教如何在文化大革命下生存及在管制政策下复兴的原因和机制。限制性的规范中复兴的因素和机制。我们也将深入访谈100位基督徒和100位佛教徒专业人士,包括律师、记者、大学教授、作家和艺术家等,了解他们对公民价值和公民参与的看法。 (3) 培养新学术共同体:中国宗教与社会研究中心主办的学术期刊,《华人宗教与社会评论》,将为一流的、独立的研究成果提供发表平台,以促进、鼓励和发展有关中国宗教的学术研究。中心将每年为青年学者组织为期两周的英文写作工作坊。工作坊都对选出12位致力于研究中国宗教且希望在国际期刊中发表英文著作的学者进行培训。上述两部分的研究成果将以专刊形式发表,主题分别为,宗教市场变化和宗教与公民社会。
